  1. More flexibility allowed in the customisation of created roles.

    Within the role creation feature, it would be helpful if you could specify what areas within an item a user role is able to access. I've hit a wall recently trying to allow a group of reviewers to review and edit an item as an assigned task, without being able to fully access our media library.

  2. An option to filter Users by Role

    We are currently able to create multiple roles but have no ability to track these within Surpass. There is no filter to show who is linked to a specific role and allow you to find and change them if required.

    Amendments to a Role are restricted if this is linked to a User so finding them easily would be a benefit.

  3. Set Up - Users cannot amend their own email address

    In Set Up users are not allowed to edit any of their own data including email address. This is an issue for re-set password.

    (My Profile in SecureAssess allowed users to update their email address in the system)

  4. Filter to review the roles in each centre or across the site administration

    The ability to review who is listed by which role in their centre or by site admin across users. If you have roles and wish to amend them you will need to know exactly who these roles relate to. Also to extract details of site/ centre users.

  5. Ability to add Learning Tags to Sample CSV file

    Change the Expiry Date Column to Learning Tags so that you can add multiple Users to a Learning Tag in the Upload File.

  6. Flag resits at set amount

    It would be nice if there was an option to set a flag or automatic email at a specific number of sittings on a specific exam i.e. on the 3rd result for a specific exam a flag appears on the candidate record and/or the system emails a specific person.

    This would allow more easy identification of exams being repeatedly re-sat and could be used to alert relevant people.

  7. Introduce external item sources role so a user doesn't have to be a site administrator to link a CP project to a subject

    Currently a user has to be a Site Administrator to see the External Item Sources radio button in subject groups. This means that a user that works in item and test creation has access to the whole system when they don't need for their job. This could be included in the Manage Subjects role as these users also work in ContentProducer. This would allow them to link CP projects to a subject group with being a Site Administrator and having access to parts of the system they don't need.

  8. Introduce share subject permission so user doesn't have to be a site administrator to share subjects with centres

    Currently a user has to be a Site Administrator to see the Share Subject button in Subjects which they need to share subjects with centres. This means the user has a higher level of access than they need for their job. There are existing Create Subjects and Manage Subjects roles but neither of these allow a user to share a subject. A new Share Subject role could allow access to this and would let the user to carry out their job without needing to be a Site Administrator and having access to parts of the system they don't need.

  9. Alert if student already in system but retired when importing in large numbers

    If importing spreadsheet of students there is no alert if a student hasn't been imported in and already in the system but retired. Even a pop up warning saying this student wasn't added in as is already in system. As then you have to go through your list and check individually to find the student who isn't there because numbers don't tally for example.

  10. Share multiple subjects with a centre at the same time

    Currently each subject has to be shared with a centre individually. For qualifications such as Functional Skills where there are eight subjects this means a user has to repeat the sharing process eight times. It would be easier if a user could select multiple subjects and share them with a centre at the same time.

  11. Centre Stats improvement

    On the #setup/centres page I can see that a centre has "X" amount of subjects attached. It would be very good to be able to click on this number which would then tell you what those subjects are. At the moment I cant find a way of seeing these subjects without clicking on every subject and then seeing if its shared with a particular centre.

    Misc. Subject Screen Enhancements - Search/Sort/Export

    - Include a column for Subject Reference – to quickly check references are correct when troubleshooting
    - Include a column for Date Created/Imported
    - Sort by Column Headings – this will allow to sort by date created and view recently added subjects
    - Export full results to CSV for further searching in Excel etc.

    Sorry for the late response to your idea. This would be a simple UI improvement therefore the design team have moved this to their backlog.
