  1. Candidate review - add extra colum [Results]

    When you schedule a test for a candidate review you are able to select all candidates or select them manually.
    The problem is that the list of candidates consists of ALL scheduled candidates including those who didn't show up when the test was taken. We VOID - ABSENT all candidates who didn't take the test.
    Those candidates are not allowed to take a candidate review.
    Right now you can't see which candidates are voided during scheduling a candidate review. You only see the following data of the candidates: Name, Ref, Keycode, Test form, Completed.

  2. Item Name Auto Set to ID option

    Presently you have the option to edit the individual quesitons to be named however you would like.
    In a number of cases this isn't an issue; however it would be beneficial to have the option of automatically setting the item name to be the ID.

    The item ID is significantly more useful in the majority of cases and in some cases it is needed to identify information when cross referencing with an external source.

  4. Automaticly adding files to section tools

    When creating a TestForm in Test Creation and questions are chosen with items who have Source Material or Media with the setting to open as a pop-up, the specific item should be added to the section Tools by hand.
    For the most people this is difficult to use, because it's not clear which media they should add. This is why we now advise not to use pop-ups by Media and not use Source Material except pdf-files.
    In my opinion it should be more helpfull that Surpass automaticly adds the needed files to the section Tools.

  5. Be able to configure the vertical height of an essay question response area

    We would like to be able to configure the vertical height of the essay question response area. For human marked tests we may have questions worth a different number of marks (e.g. 2-25). Typically with ContentProducer we would size the gapfill to be proportional to the size of the expected response and number of marks available. The number of marks and size of the response area give the candidate an indication of what is expected in terms of their response.   6. Introduce external item sources role so a user doesn't have to be a site administrator to link a CP project to a subject

    Currently a user has to be a Site Administrator to see the External Item Sources radio button in subject groups. This means that a user that works in item and test creation has access to the whole system when they don't need for their job. This could be included in the Manage Subjects role as these users also work in ContentProducer. This would allow them to link CP projects to a subject group with being a Site Administrator and having access to parts of the system they don't need.

  7. Introduce share subject permission so user doesn't have to be a site administrator to share subjects with centres

    Currently a user has to be a Site Administrator to see the Share Subject button in Subjects which they need to share subjects with centres. This means the user has a higher level of access than they need for their job. There are existing Create Subjects and Manage Subjects roles but neither of these allow a user to share a subject. A new Share Subject role could allow access to this and would let the user to carry out their job without needing to be a Site Administrator and having access to parts of the system they don't need.

    Create a column in the result section where the time a candidate took for the exam is monitored. In order to use for learning analytics.

  10. Subject Users being able to view candidate responses

    Our subject users and centre users are the ones who would require access to Audit and View Responses but for some reason this function is only available to Site Level access

  11. Alert if student already in system but retired when importing in large numbers

    If importing spreadsheet of students there is no alert if a student hasn't been imported in and already in the system but retired. Even a pop up warning saying this student wasn't added in as is already in system. As then you have to go through your list and check individually to find the student who isn't there because numbers don't tally for example.

  12. Ability to remark questions after exam

    If it is found in Item Authoring that questions have the incorrect maximum mark or a question was ambigious and proving to be problematic for students. Can highlight amendment in red so viewers know it has been manually amended since completion of exam.

  13. Show candidates the correct answer when reviewing sample / practice tests

    For our practice tests we would like candidates to get more information to help them understand what they got wrong. At the moment when candidates click on the question number they answered incorrectly (from the review screen) it takes them to the question but only highlights the answer they gave. It would be far more helpful if it also indicated what the correct answer would have been, allowing them to use the practice test formatively.

  15. Ability for learner to see correct answer on item review

    In Itembank it would be useful to have an option where we could choose if a learner could see the correct answer to a question as part of item review at the end of an assessment. So at the moment they see a cross or tick against their answers but it would be useful to also have an option to highlight the correct answer if different to options selected. This should be configurable for each assessment created so option in IB. Initially for MCQ/MRQ only but could be expanded to other question types.

  16. Share multiple subjects with a centre at the same time

    Currently each subject has to be shared with a centre individually. For qualifications such as Functional Skills where there are eight subjects this means a user has to repeat the sharing process eight times. It would be easier if a user could select multiple subjects and share them with a centre at the same time.

  17. Graph Creator Questions: Line graph only allows candidates to input two sets of data

    A maximum of two sets of data can be compared using a line graph in the graph creator advanced question type. Should this not be increased to allow the plotting of a minimum of 3 sets of data by a candidate choosing a line graph in the exam to allow better comparability with the other graph options available i.e. bar chart, pie chart?

    Would be good when start typing the Keycode to have the cursor in the entry field. Currently this does not happen.

  19. To have the Actual Duration available as a column in the Test Audit.

    The Actual Duration would be the sum of the time a candidate has spent in each question they answered in a test. At the moment this can only be derived from the difference between the Test Delivered and Test Submitted times in the Audit Report. However if the test has gone offline this difference is not accurate. By having the Actual Duration as a column in Test Audit it could be exported and analysed in a spread sheet. This is important in identifying possible malpractice where a candidate has completed a test in an unfeasibly short period of time.

  20. Question items within a Group should be able to be dynamically selected

    At the moment a group can be created within an assessment which contains a fixed number of selected items which on delivery will scroll as if one question. It would be really beneficial if those items could be selected using rules dynamically. Therefore a group would contain a number of rules. This would result in each candidate being presented with a scrolling assessment/'question' containing items selected dynamically. Significantly increases the usability of this feature.
