Ideas Portal: How can we improve Surpass?

Add the ‘Track Changes’ option as available in Microsoft Word under the ‘Review’ tab.

This can be especially useful for those who have remote users contributing to the question editing process, and greatly assist those responsible for reviewing/quality assuring these contributions.

In addition to my previous comments it would be nice to have a log of actions and comments for the question with a small notification icon to represent something that needs to be actioned.

It would be really beneficial if there was a sort of ‘track changes’ on the item authoring.
This would allow a user to make changes that could be seen but wouldn’t ‘take effect’ until approved by the relevant person.

The process for ‘new’ questions is:
Someone creates the item – draft
Someone reviews the item and signs it off as acceptable for use (question content)
Someone reviews the item works in the system – set to live

But with existing questions that are live the process isn’t fully support because it isn’t always viable to put them back into a draft state.
In this situation it would be much better to have a track change type of option wherein you can see the intended changes and approve them before they become live (even though the item is already live).
