When creating a Spreadsheet item, if you have ticked the 'Show Export Button' checkbox, the candidate will have access to an 'Export' button within this question during delivery. This export button should only be used within packaged tests taken in web delivery mode.
If, in addition to this, you would like to allow candidates the option to export all spreadsheet questions and their associated responses on selection of the 'Finish' button, you will need to change the configuration of the packaged test file.
Remember: You will need to ensure that you configure the packaged test file appropriately before running the test.
Once you have packaged the relevant test, you will need to change the configuration of this to support the exporting of spreadsheet responses from the 'Finish' button, by following these steps:
1. Open the “Configuration” folder within a Packaged Test.
2. Open the XML file “configuration_delivery”.
3. Change the following value from the “false” value to “true” (this must be lowercase):

(Hint: use Control+F and search on “exportOnFinishInPackagedVersion”)
4. Save the XML file “configuration_delivery”.
5. You may now run your packaged Test Form.
Once the test package has been configured in this way, when the candidate takes the test and selects the 'Finish' button, all spreadsheet questions and their associated responses will be exported and available for saving or printing. All other question types will show as 'not attempted' in the export file.
