How to Re-Mark Tests
Step 1: Flag For Re-Mark
Find the relevant test in the 'Audit' screen of Test Administration.
Select the test to highlight it, then press the 'Flag For Re-Mark' button.
The 'Re-mark status' column of the 'Audit' screen will change to 'Requested'.
Step 2: Re-Mark Screen
Navigate to the 'Re-Mark' screen in Test Administration to view a list of tests that have been flagged for re-mark.
Select the relevant test in the table to highlight it, then select the 'View Responses' button.
Step 3: View Responses
Once you press 'View Responses', the 'Mark Script' window appears. Here, you can view the candidate's responses to each question and change the marks assigned to the items. Both computer-marked and human-marked items can be re-marked.
You will not be able to assign marks to an unattempted item, unless 'Enable Override Auto-Mark' has been selected for that script in the 'Re-mark' screen. Whether you can enable this will depend on the permissions you have been assigned.
For more information about how to use the functionality in this window, please see 'How to Mark Tests'.
Once you are happy with your changes, press the 'Submit Script' button from the 'View Responses' window to send the script back to 'Audit'.
Step 4: After the Re-Mark
When the test has been submitted from the 'Re-Mark' screen, the status in 'Audit' changes to 'Re-marked'.
The data in the tables on both the 'Results' and 'Audit' screens also change to reflect any amendments in the 'Re-Mark' screen, including the percentage, mark, and result.
