Using Subject Folder Structures

General Good Practice Tips

  • Keep “live” items separate from other items – this will help to prevent “live” items that have been published to Test Creation from being changed accidentally
  • Have separate folders for Introduction and Information pages for easy access.
  • Make sure that you have enough items when using dynamic tests to be able to satisfy these rules.
  • Keep items for static and dynamic tests separate (this may depend on your organisation’s preferences).

Key Folders

In order to follow good practice, we recommend that you have the following separate folders in each subject:

Working Items
        → [Appropriate folder structure]
Live Items
         → [Appropriate folder structure]
Introduction Pages
Information Pages
